International Programs

The department has entered various dual-degree programs with prestigious foreign universities, including Linköping University (Sweden), Tsinghua University (Beijing, China), University of Technology of Troyes (France), University of Liverpool (U.K.), and so on. In addition, international exchange scholarships and elite scholarships are also available for students to participate in exchange programs at more than 300 sister schools abroad, such as University of California, Berkeley (USA), Technical University of Munich (Germany), University of Zurich (Switzerland), University of Glasgow (U.K.), Kyoto University (Japan), National University of Singapore (Singapore), Peking University (China) and etcetera.

The department also recruits international students from all across the globe.  Talented international students are recruited into the department with competitive scholarships, monthly allowance and a tuition waiver along with opportunity to carry out research with the best faculty in the field. Throughout the year, as the number of international students grows, senior international students organize international students gathering activities during the semester to enhance the relationship between international students and to ease the transition and nostalgia for new students in a new foreign environment.
