After-class Counselling Teacher
- Qualification: After-class Counselling Teacher: Undegraduates whose (accumulated) score ranks in the top 20% in the department or in class, who can provide counselling for at least 2 hours per week routinely within the two weeks before midterm/final.
- Application: After-class Counselling Teacher: Fill in the application form for the After-class Counselling Teacher and provide one transcript of all semesters (including ranking), go to the department office for application.
A. The teacher of each subject will announce their designated time for students to make online reservation.
B. It requires the presence of at least two students for the counselling to be valid. If the teacher happens to be one of the study group members, during the counselling there must be at least one participating student who is not a member of the study group.
C. Counselling Site: No specific place is limited as long as it can achieve the purpose of discussion and counselling and serve the needs of the teacher and the student.
A.The workstudy wage will be given after filling in the After-class Counselling Sign-up Sheet, the maximum hour of the wage given is 20 hours per semester and can be continually accumulated if over 20 hours.
B.According to the hours accumulated, different certificates and rewards will be awarded as follows:
a.If the total hour accumulated is over 12 hours, the teacher will be awarded with ＂bcc＂ certificate and the workstudy wage will be counted by 1.1 times.
b.If the total hour accumulated is over 35 hours, the teacher will be awarded with ＂fcc＂ certificate and the workstudy wage will be counted by 1.2 times.
C.If the total hour accumulated is over 60 hours, the teacher will be awarded with ＂diamond＂ certificate and the workstudy wage will be counted by 1.3 times.
- Check the ＂After-class Counselling Timetable＂ designated by the After-class Counselling Teacher in advance.
(1)If there is a suitable time, please inform the teacher by email at least three days in advance, after the teacher replies a confirmation mail the counselling will be set.
(2)If there is no suitable time, two students (or above) can reserve the time by email three days in advance, after the teacher replies a confirmation mail the counselling will be set.
★ Please note the following information in the subject of the reservation mail: Reserve After-class Counselling - (course subject, time), the name and the contact number should be included in the mail content.
- If there’s a need to use the classroom and seminar room of the department, the counselling student should ask the department office to borrow the room in advance. (Email of the office: firstname.lastname@example.org)
