Seminar: Taiwanese businessmen in Central and South America: experience, opportunities, and challenges

Due to the great potential in markets, Taiwan has signed Free Trade Agreements (FTA) or Economic Cooperation Agreements (ECA) with Central and South America countries, such as Panama, Guatemala, Nicaragua, El Salvador, Honduras, Paraguay, Belize, and other countries, to help promote bilateral trade and investment. In the past few decades, Taiwanese businessmen have improved and enhanced in various fields, such as society, economy, and public issues.

In order to understand more about the Taiwanese businessmen, working there as pioneers, Overseas Community Affairs and Council, Republic of China (Taiwan) and National Tsing Hua University hold the seminar, invite representatives from industry, government, academia, and research to share their experiences, and hope that it can push forward Taiwan's industry in Central and South America and economic and trade investment.
